2025 Convention Youth Scholarship Update
We are proud to share an exciting update from our 2025 convention season, which saw our youth scholarship programme reach more young magicians than ever before.
Vanishing Inc. hosts two of the most respected magic conventions in the world: The Session (in the UK) and Magifest (in Columbus, Ohio, USA) and at both events, ShareMagic offers a youth scholarship programme designed to break down barriers and give young magicians an experience they will never forget. In addition to complimentary registration for them and a parent, youth attendees receive access to exclusive sessions, free magic resources, and the opportunity to connect with other young magicians and professional performers.
This year, we saw our largest youth cohorts ever:
30 young magicians and their parents joined us at The Session, which was hosted by Harry De Cruz and Gaia Elisa Rossi. We were especially proud to welcome two brilliant students from The College of Magic in South Africa, who flew in to attend as part of the programme thanks to the generosity of SharMagic donors.
At Magifest, led by the outstanding team of Carisa Hendrix, Abby Segal, and Gabriella Lester, we hosted 65 young magicians and their parents. They received ShareMagic-branded backpacks and notebooks, lunch and snacks throughout the convention and incredible giveaways from Murphy’s Magic and Vanishing Inc.
Both conventions offered young magicians the chance to learn directly from some of the most respected magicians in the world, attend specially curated youth workshops, and bond with peers in ways that build lasting community. Magifest also featured a dedicated youth hangout room, a safe and fun space where participants could jam, relax, and connect throughout the event.
This work is only possible thanks to the support of donors and the passion of our community. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved so far—and even more excited for what’s ahead.
In 2026, we are going even bigger. More scholarships. More international outreach. More magic, more mentorship, and more opportunities to support young magicians.
