Magifest 2020 Youth Scholarship

By Vanishing Inc. - Wednesday, June 19, 2019

The Magifest can be a life-changing experience and we want EVERY young magician to have a chance to attend. That's why we're offering the opportunity for young magicians to receive a scholarship and attend for free!

This year you'll be able to enjoy time with David Williamson, Avner the Eccentric, FISM-winner Hector Mancha, and more. You'll be able to spend time with other passionate young magicians, and you'll have opportunities to meet and spend time with some of the best magicians in the world.

Magifest Youth Scholarship

Here's how it works. Young magicians must donate a show to a good cause: an orphanage, a retirement center, a homeless shelter, a church, a synagogue, a school fundraiser...get creative...and donate a show. Provide proof of your performance (a photo of you performing at the event and a letter of confirmation on the charity's stationary). You can submit these articles to us by replying to this email.

Provide this proof of performance before November 1st, 2019, and you'll be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Through generous donations, we have funds for 45 youth scholars this year, so it's to your advantage to perform and apply early for best chances of being admitted.

If accepted, you will receive a full Magifest scholarship, valued at $250, and Vanishing Inc. will match your scholarship so one parent can attend with you, also valued at $250.

This is a life-changing opportunity to advance your skills and passion for magic. No prior experience is required. You must be under 18 on January 1, 2020 to apply.

I have been a professional magician for over forty years and unequivocally this idea of a Magicfear is the bamb! I professed. For years to my students you must share you magic talents by doing lots of benefits and help out with underprivileged children. I was BOZO THE CLOWN FOR LARRY HARMON PICTURES for nine years and I did several benefits and fund raising shows and it made my days filled with joy and heartwarming satisfaction to know that I made so many kids smile and spread the love. I always closed my BOZO show with this: "REMEMBER WHAT YOUR OLE PAL BOZO SAYS, ITS NICE TO
BE IMPORTANT BUT MORE IMPORTANT TO BE NICE"
